Vision Ophthalmology Group [VOG] announces that Dario Aganovic has been appointed Group CEO of the Vision Ophthalmology Group with immediate effect. He replaces Roland Bruhin, who has stepped down from the CEO position and has left the business.
Mr Aganovic has held a number of senior leadership roles in various industries, most recently as Group CEO of CCS Healthcare, a European pharmaceutical and medical device business, which has grown substantially in size and financial performance under Mr Aganovic’s leadership. He intends to focus on consolidating the VOG business across countries and units, elevating best practices across markets and improving the quality of customer service and the effectiveness of product offerings. Mr Aganovic will also pursue growth in the business, organically and via strategic acquisitions, utilising the full potential of VOG’s talented resources and the vital relationships with its commercial partners. In doing so, VOG will aim at providing a superior pan-European service to all its customers, while enhancing its position as the preferred partner of choice for all manufacturers of ophthalmology products.
Gregorio Napoleone and Henrik Lif, the partners of Stirling Square Capital Partners who will support Mr Aganovic on the VOG Board of Directors going forward, commented: “Dario has been working effectively with VOG for some time and we are very pleased to welcome him in the Group CEO capacity. At the same time, we take the opportunity to thank Roland for his effort and dedication for VOG, and wish him well in his future endeavours.”
