Vision Ophthalmology Group (VOG) takes now the next step in creating a leading integrated international distribution platform within the field of ophthalmology.

VOG establishes a new Product Management and Sourcing function with the objective to consolidate and strengthen product portfolio planning, product lifecycle management, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management across all group subsidiaries. This new function is led by Simone Süther, who until now has served as Country Manager for Germany and Austria and Managing Director for VOG‘s subsidiary Polytech Domilens GmbH. Ms. Süther has strong functional and industrial knowledge from her 17 years of experience within the field of ophthalmology, where she has been active both in sales and product management roles.

The new Country Manager for Germany and Austria is Bernd Müller, who is stepping up from his role as Sales Director at Polytech Domilens GmbH. Mr. Müller has spent last 13 years in the ophthalmology business where he has been holding a range of senior commercial leadership positions and has built a strong track record with regard to sales growth and quality of customer service.

Furthermore, VOG announces Zeljko Radovancevic as the new Country Manager for Switzerland, also Managing Director for Medilas AG. Mr. Radovancevic has held a number of senior commercial leadership roles within the medical device industry as well as specialist roles at Cantonal Hospital St. Gallen. The combination of his strong commercial drive, enthusiastic leadership style, and deep understanding of clinical processes will be a great asset in his endeavor to continue the successful development of VOG‘s business in Switzerland.
The leadership change in Switzerland means that Markus Gössi, who until now has been managing VOG‘s Swiss business and who has during the last three decades built the strong position of Medilas on the Swiss market, will during the coming couple of months support the transition to Mr. Radovancevic before retiring from his operative duties in the company.

Dr. Dario Aganovic, CEO of Vision Ophthalmology Group says: “By making this change, we aim to strengthen our product portfolio and provide a simpler and a more effective distribution channel for our suppliers. At the same time we are directing the full focus of our country teams towards revenue growth through consultative selling and superior customer service. It is my great pleasure to congratulate Ms. Süther and Mr. Müller on their new roles and to welcome Mr. Radovancevic to VOG and Medilas. I would also like to thank Mr. Gössi on his invaluable contribution during his time as managing director of Medilas.”

These organizational and leadership changes are implemented with immediate effect.
